Your time to reset.
At the heart of each treatment is you. Julianne takes the time to create a warm, open, and welcoming space where you can feel truly heard and listened to. Rather than treating a disease or symptom in isolation, your treatment is personalized to your unique needs, experiences, constitution, lifestyle, and overall pattern of health. Through acupuncture and individualized care, treatments provide an opportunity for a deeper reset, allowing the body and mind the space they need to rest, restore, and heal.

Treating the Individual and not the Disease
Rather than treating the disease, Acupuncture treatments are dynamic and designed to address the individual and their specific presenting symptoms while also addressing the root cause. Traditional Chinese Medicine looks at the constellation of factors in our lives to uncover and transform patterns at the root level. Rather than being a band aid solution, treatments are holistic and may consider different layers of our lives in considering approaches to healing. Symptoms are often viewed as golden keys that when listened to attentively, can direct us towards a pathway of healing, transformation and revitalization.
About Acupuncture
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic system of health and healing that has evolved over thousands of years grounded in a multifaceted mapping of the mind body and spirit that is interconnected with the elements and with a energetic understanding of health and the cause of disease and disharmony. Acupuncture uses fine, single use sterile needles at specific points along the bodies energetic pathways known as Meridians to support balance, encourage the body’s natural healing processes, reduce stress and tension and promote a greater sense of wellbeing.

Women’s Health
The Creative Altar offers a space for women to take time for themselves and to refill their cup. Often we are the caregivers and carry unseen emotional and mental loads, from work to child care, to household management, women need a space to feel supported, to reset and to refill their cup. Women are creative and cyclical beings who are trying to function in a patriarchal modal of achievement and overwork. Traditional Chinese Medicine knows that to live in optimal health, it’s ideal to cultivate a way of life that supports our natural hormonal cycles, align with the lunar cycle and give ourselves times of rest so that we can thrive and not fall into burnout. Traditional Chinese Medicine can support you in your journey through life from menstruastation regulation, fertility support, Pregnancy, Postpartum, lactation, Perimenopause, Menopause, life cycle changes and emotional regulation.
Emotional Wellness
Traditional Chinese Medicine treats the individual as a multifaceted being that knows our emotional health is inextricable intertwined with our general wellbeing. Each Organ, season and Meridian is connected with an emotion, For example, Grief lives in our lungs , Anger lives in our liver and Fear lives in our Kidneys. When emotions are unresolved, bottled up or unexpressed this can have long term impacts on our health. Working with Acupuncture can support our full selves: the body, mind and spirit.
